The card game Bauer was published in May 2024 after a successful crowdfunding campaign that ended on December 15, 2023 with 193 wonderful backers and a total of 63,592 kr ($6400 USD) funded.
The game was born out of a desire from its creators to make a fun, pocket-sized, card game together. In the summer of 2023, they gathered for one week to playtest some game ideas. After a few days they did find a design they enjoyed playing and believed had potential. Further development and playtesting occured remotely until the game was ready. Thus they launched a campaign to crowdfund the printing of 1500 copies of a card game that could fit in your pocket.
